This work is the result of my formal explorations in combining various textiles, as well as a dystopian narrative about nature reclaiming control. I use white plastic fabric, juxtaposed with both natural and synthetic fibers. The patternI create resembles embroidery on a tablecloth, with a structure evocative of white mold. I am interested in the phenomenon of decay — understood not as degradation, but as a process of regeneration, where new value emerges through transformation. I address toxicity both as a principle inherent to nature, serving its survival, and as a byproduct of mass production that leads to destruction.
Since 2021, the piece is part of the Our Little Garden collection, named after Derek Jarman, in Kraków.
